Attended the “Forum on Public Buildings” on April 26 at New Canaan Town Hall. The forum was co-sponsored by the Town of New Canaan, New Canaan Preservation Alliance, New Canaan Historical Society and NewCanaanite.com – Panelists were Kevin Moynihan, John Engel, Penny Young, Amy Murphy Carroll and Cristina A. Ross
– The forum format provided information and discussion with decision-makers on the future of buildings such as Waveny House, Vine Cottage, Irwin House and the former Outback.
It was very informative and the authors of the study, Penny Young and Amy Murphy Carroll, did an enormous amount of excellent work which made the discussion very worthwhile.
